ASEAN’s Outlook for 2022

As the COVID-19 pandemic begins to subside, ASEAN Member States will no doubt view 2022 as a year of economic recovery. Under the New Normal, ASEAN will have to grapple with heightened geopolitical tensions, an acceleration of the digital economy, and public health as a new dimension in a country’s competitiveness as an investment hub.
